Climate Advisers are a strategic communications organisation that creates and implements large-scale strategies to strengthen climate action. They work with clients to reduce emissions, encourage international climate cooperation, work on US policy solutions, and in financial markets to encourage sustainable investing.

Following several years of growth, they felt their existing identity was disjointed and had not grown with them to accurately reflect their values. I collaborated with Climate Advisers to build out a unique and memorable identity based on their existing foundations to see them into the future.

Climate Advisers have long been focused on a distinct vision and these strong foundations were already visually present in a unique logomark. Over time, however, the mark had dated and proved limited in flexibility and lasting impact. Our brief was to build upon the existing brand recognition and trusted position and modernise the brand for years to come.

By removing the rounded rectangle from behind the mark, this key identifier now has freedom to move, adapt, and evolve. This not only reflects the nimble and progressive nature of the business but also opens the door to an evolving technological world of dynamic identities, digital experiences, and moving image.

The agility of the brand is now graphically represented through the transformation of a simple shape from square to circle. The transition of these shapes and their movement from left to right signify the urgent change and progress that Climate Advisers work to achieve.
