Lou Dungate is an eponymous label based in London. Focussing on sustainable production and luxury natural fibres, the core collection comprises of cashmere scarves and accessories.

Dedicated to promoting a slow and ethical lifestyle, Lou eschews the traditional fashion model in favour of creating timeless pieces of the finest craftsmanship, for a life well lived.

The brand communicates with timelessness and a luxurious nature, while ensuring a contemporary aesthetic threaded through. A richness yet simplicity in colour and light were integral to the look and feel, celebrating both a modern definition of cashmere and celebrating the heritage of England where the brand manufactures.

The brand was conceptualised in the technical aspects of textiles. Inspired by the over and under of a weave and a weft, we developed a bespoke monogram mark alongside secondary logotype that brings a contemporary aesthetic to an otherwise heritage branding device.

Brand tone of voice echoes the sentiments of an English birthplace and honours traditional naming and language.

Twenty Assembly were honoured to be a part of its creation and are thankful for the friendship that has continued on since.
